Fall schedule for furniture and decor trade shows, expos and other happening in China

There are a quite few different home decor, accessories and furniture / furniture manufacturing trade shows coming up just around the corner. Rather then searching out which ones are occurring, where and when, I thought I would make it easier and list them out for you. With the shanghai show and others looming around the corner, “will I be able to get a visa” remains one of the hottest questions.
The 14th China International Furniture Expo (Shanghai Show
China International Furniture Expo: September 10thto the 13th
This is a pretty large show, usually help in Pudong which easily covers a few thousand exhibitors. Includes several other mini shows as well
International Famous Furniture Fair (Dong guan
International Famous Furniture Fair (In Hou Jie, Dong Guan) Sept 6th through the 10th.
Twice a year show with at least 800 or more exhibitors. Pretty large show as with mostly major players (IE huge factories). Categories include: bedroom furniture, living room furniture, upholstery, wall décor, decorative accessories, lightings, textile as well as woodworking machinery and materials.
Furniture World China (Beijing)
Furniture World China 2008 -The 11th China (Beijing) International Furniture, Woodworking Machinery & Wood Products Exhibition: Nov. 25-28, 2008
Smaller show, with about 500 or so mostly domestic exhibitors.
CIFF – China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou)
CIFF – China International Furniture Fair September 8-11, 2008
At the same time, as Homedecor + Hometextile China (Guangzhou). Categories include:Living Room Furniture, Kitchen Furniture, Traditional Furniture, Bedroom Furniture, Outdoor Furniture, Soft Furniture, Dining Room Furniture, Children Furniture
China Import and Export Fair (Guang Zhou)
China Import and Export Fair, also called Canton Fair (Guangzhou)
Phase 1: October 15th – 19th, 2008
Phase 2: October 24th – 28th, 2008
Phase 3: November 2nd – 6th, 2008
